RF Networking/DAS. NavtechGPS understands the intricacies of installing custom GPS/GNSS RF networking/DAS antenna systems because we have been doing it for 20+ years. The networking systems we install are either cable-in, directly to your GNSS receiver, or transmitted over the air to the receiver. They can cover a very large space or small bench area. To accomplish this, we use either low-loss, high quality RF coax cables or fiber optic cables. Fiber optic can transmit over long distances and is also qualified for use in secure facilities. Using either method, we can install a system that can cover thousands of square feet of re-transmission or 64+ stations of cable-in, directly from a single roof antenna.
We work with the end user to develop a system that will most closely emulate the signals that would be achieved by using an outdoor GPS antenna system. Our goal is to give you the best possible signal without over- or under- delivering on the RF signal.
The manufactured components we use are second to none and made to last. We work with you to build a bespoke system designed specifically for your facility. Many of the networking systems we installed have been in service for more than 20 years and are still going strong.
