Trimble BD982 Receiver
DUAL-ANTENNA RECEIVER DELIVERS CENTIMETER ACCURATE POSITIONS and PRECISE HEADINGÂ
A compact, dual-antenna GNSS receiver designed to deliver centimeter accurate positions and precise heading to challenging guidance and control applications.
The manufacturer has issued and end of life (EOL) notice for this product. It has been replaced by the BD992. Please see EOL Notice and Related Products tabs for more information.
Â
The BD982 GNSS system is a single board solution for precise position and heading. It delivers multi-constellation RTK baselines between the two connected antennas to a remote base station. The dual chip BD982 passes the independent observations from the antennas to the processor where the multi-constellation RTK baselines are computed.Â
Â
The Trimble BD982 GNSS supports GPS L1/L2/L5 and GLONASS L1/L2 signals. In addition, Trimble products are committed to the next generation of modernized GNSS configurations by making Galileo-compatible products available usually well in advance of Galileo system availability.
Â
The new Trimble BD982 is capable of tracking the experimental GIOVE-A and GIOVE-B test satellites for signal evaluation and test purposes.
